Wyckoff Father And Son Pen New Children's Book

A Wyckoff father and son’s latest children’s book has been released.

Robert and Bob Skead’s Submarines, Secrets, & A Daring Rescue” has been released. The book is the second entry into the duo’s American Revolutionary War Adventure Series.

The Skeads got their inspiration for the book after Rob visited a house President George Washington lived in while he was a general during the Revolutionary War.

“I suddenly imaged being a kid transported back in time to 1777 and going on an adventure with George Washington,” Robert Skead said. “I knew then I had a premise for a story. And with each step I took, I seemed to get more ideas about what could happen.”

The plot involves the first submarine created by the United States, the American Turtle.

“Very few adults and children know about this amazing and creative invention during the American Revolution,” Robert’s father Bob Skead said.

The book is available in hardcover.
