Fire Destroys Nets, Damages Tennis Courts: Wyckoff Police

A fire at the Wyckoff tennis courts destroyed nets and damaged the courts, authorities said.

Recreation director Andy Wingfield reported Monday that a fire destroyed two tennis court nets and damaged the courts’ asphalt surfaces.

Wingfield could not be reached for comment.

Anyone with information regarding “these senseless acts of criminal mischief,” Fox said, should contact the Wyckoff Police Department at 201-891-2121. The identity of anyone reporting information will be kept confidential.
