First Scholarship From Wyckoff Memorial Fund Awarded: Report
The Andrea Tilbian Halejian Memorial Fund awards first $1,000 scholarship to Hope Residence.

The Andrea Tilbian Haleijan Memorial Fund has awarded its first $1,000 scholarship.
Hope Residence, which is part of Eva’s Village, an anti-poverty non-profit based in Paterson, has been awarded the scholarship, NorthJersey.com reports.
Hope Residence provides abused and homeless mothers and children with a place to stay and the support services they need.

Haleijan died in June 2014. She lived in Wyckoff with her husband and three children for 23 years. She was an active volunteer, giving her time at Calvin Coolidge Elementary School and St. Leon Armenian Church in Fair Lawn. Her children attended Ramapo High School.
