Florida Resident Arrested After Cashing Fraudulent Check in Wyckoff Bank

A Florida resident was arrested earlier this month after allegedly cashing in a fraudulent check at a Wyckoff bank.

Maily D. Pedraza, 22, of Hialeah, FL was charged with forgery and theft after cashing a fraudulent check in the amount of $7,241 at a Wyckoff bank, according to Wyckoff police.

Pedraza had been picked up in Allendale for a similar crime shortly before the incident in Wyckoff was discovered.

The charges were served to her attorney and a complaint was filed with Bergen County Superior Court.
