Former Real Housewife Staub Files for Bankruptcy Protection
Report: Stripper, singer, author Staub's creditors include IRS, Wayne Township, PSE&G
Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Danielle Staub has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection, according to media reports.
The 49-year-old D-list celebrity turned author, stripper and singer filed her petition with the United States Bankruptcy Court in Newark on May 30, NorthJersey.com first reported.
Staub's assets — estimated at somewhere between $500,001 and $1 million — match her liabilities to creditors such as the IRS and the state Division of Taxation, Wayne Township, PSE&G, and nine law firms, according papers filed with the court.

Staub is perhaps best known for the brouhaha surrounding a sex tape that she either did or did not leak in the middle of the second season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Staub has also starred in the VH1 bomb Famous Food and signed a 3-year deal to strip at Scores, an infamous Manhattan strip club.
