Selling Christmas Trees, Wyckoff Lions Club Continues 50 Year Tradition
Proceeds benefit Wyckoff Fire Department, local charities
The Wyckoff Lions Club has commenced its annual Christmas Tree Sale.
Located next to Wyckoff Town Hall and just across Wyckoff Avenue from Boulder Run, the tree sale — a tradition of more than 50 years — benefits a number of local organizations.
“This year’s trees are better than ever,” said Tree Sale Chairman Russ Hoeffs who along with club members and the Wyckoff Fire Department has been preparing the tree lot over past weeks weeks.

The trees you're likely to see include balsams and fraser firs ranging in size form 6 to 12 feet.
“Many families look forward to buying their trees from the Lions Club every Christmas," said Club President Bill Luyke.

According to member Jamie Chumas, the group donates all profits to charities and local service organizations including Camp Marcella, a summer camp for blind children and teens; the Guide Dog Foundation; New Jersey Lions Eye Bank; Love Fund; Oasis; and the Wyckoff Fire Department.
The sale is open from 5:30-9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Wreaths — both premade and custom — and roping are also available.
