Man Arrested For Sending Threatening Letter To Wyckoff Police Chief

Nikolay Levinson, 22, allegedly sent a harassing and threatening letter to Chief Benjamin Fox's home, police said.

A Fort Lee man was charged with stalking after he allegedly mailed harassing and threatening letters to Wyckoff police Chief Benjamin C. Fox and another Wyckoff resident, authorities said.

Nikolay Levinson, 32 of Fort Lee, was arrested following an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Fort Lee Police Department, Fox said.

Levinson allegedly sent “harassing and threatening” letters to Fox’s and another Wyckoff resident’s homes, police said.

Levinson was charged with two counts of harassment and stalking, Fox said.

Wyckoff Municipal Court Judge Russell B. Teschon set Levinson’s bail at $22,000.

Levinson was served with the complaints at the Bergen County Jail where he is being held on previous charges.
