Man Steals From Wyckoff CVS, Gets Locked Out Of Car: Police
Jordan R. Stevens, 27, was charged with shoplifting.

A Bergen County man was charged with shoplifting after he allegedly stole a laser pointer from CVS and locked himself out of his car, police said.
Officer Kyle Ferreira responded to the CVS pharmacy on Franklin Avenue and found Robyn R. Verga trying to open a car in the lot with a coat hanger, police said.
Police had separate conversations with Verga and the man she was with, Jordon R. Stevens, 27, of Palisades Park, who each told the officers different reasons why they were there, said Chief Benjamin C. Fox.

Verga told police a different name for herself than Stevens gave for her and authorities found suspected cocaine residue in a glass smoking pipe, a used syringe, and miscellaneous items associated with heroin use i her possession, Fox said.
Stevens was in possession of laser pointer he reportedly stole from CVS and a warrant out of Bergen County had been issued for his arrest; Verga had a warrant out for her arrest from Garfield, Fox said.

Verga was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, and providing false information to a law enforcement officer so as to hinder her apprehension, police said. Stevens was charged with shoplifting. They were turned over to Garfield police and the Bergen County police services on their respective warrants.
