Memorial Day Parade Expected To Delay Traffic For Hours

Several roads will be closed during the township’s Memorial Day parade May 25.

The following roadways will be closed beginning at 11:30 a.m.:

• Wyckoff Avenue (from Russell Avenue to Main Street)
• Franklin Avenue (from Godwin Avenue to Monroe Avenue)
• Main Street
• Scott Plaza

The parade will begin at 11:30 at Cornerstone Christian Church, which is at the intersection of Wyckoff and Russell avenues.

The parade will proceed from the church, go left down Wyckoff Avenue, head right onto Main Street, turn right onto Franklin Avenue, and finally left into Town Hall and end at the Ambulance Corps building.

Residents should expect traffic delays throughout the township from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; motorists should plan an alternate route or allow for more travel time between these hours.
