One Lane To Close On Route 208 For Resurfacing Project

Project is expected to take three to four months to complete, officials said.

One lane on Route 208 will be closed as part of the Route 287 Pavement Preservation Project, officials announced recently.

Work for the resurfacing project will take place in Wyckoff and Franklin Lakes on the main part of the highway, entrance and exit ramps, and the shoulder.

Work will be completed in stages. One lane will be closed at night while work occurs and reopen in the morning. Ramps will be closed for one night and traffic detoured to the nearest ramp, the state Department of Transportation said.
