Users take to Twitter with #justiceforotto to show their support and criticize police.

People have taken to Twitter and Facebook to show their support for the Vukobratovic family in the days following the death of their German shepherd, Otto.
Patrolman Kyle Ferreira shot Otto twice while investigating an alleged burglary at the wrong address April 29. The dog allegedly lunged at and bit Ferreira as he investigated the alleged incident.
Ferreira shot the dog twice after police said it bit his foot and wouldn’t let go. The dog died later that day.

Dozens of people protested Ferreira’s actions at a council meeting Tuesday. They said he should not have used such excessive force.
People have used the hashtag #justiceforottoo in posts to show their support for the family.
