Police Cracking Down On Speeding Drivers At Park, Memorial Field

Police are cracking down on those who speed at certain highly-traveled areas in Wyckoff.

The maximum speed limit at the Wyckoff Community Park, the Pulis Field Recreation Complex, and Memorial Field, and their parking lots, is 10 mph. The Township Committee recently enacted approved legislation setting the speed limit in those specific areas.

Wyckoff police expect residents to drive “cautiously” and obey the speed limit, and posted signs, traffic lights, and parking rules at these locations.

Drivers can expect police to enforce these rules and regulations if anyone is caught violating them, authorities said.
