'Real Housewives' Star Chris Laurita's Franklin Lakes Home In Foreclosure: Report

Another ”Real Housewives of New Jersey” star could be without a home soon.

Following the real estate troubles of Teresa Guidice, Chris and jacqueline Laurita’s Franklin Lakes home is being foreclosed on, NJ.com reported.

Hudson Savings Bank has filed paperwork in Bergen County to foreclose on the reality-television stars’ six-bedroom Franklin Lakes house. That house was placed on the market in January 2014 for $2.85 million, but then the price dropped later that year to $2.78 million, the website states.

Laurita reportedly took out a $1.6 million mortgage in October 2007 with nearly $10,900-a-month payments; Laurita has reportedly failed to make a mortgage payment on the four-bedroom Colonial since October 2014.

Jacqueline Laurita said on camera during a ‘Real Housewives’ that the family had put their home up for sale because of mounting bills for their son Nicolas’s autism treatment.

A Wayne home Chris Laurita owns is also being foreclosed on, the report states.

Citing court records, the website said that Laurita purchased the home in 2007 for $725,000 and took out a $525,000 mortgage on it.

The home was put on the market in 2012 for $699,000 but the price dropped to $599,000 when the listing was pulled in January, the website reported; Nationwide claims Laurita has been in default since January 2012.

Bravo has not yet confirmed a seventh season of ’Real Housewives of New Jersey’ or who would star in it should the show return. Wayne resident Kathy Wakile, who is building her ‘dream home’ in Franklin Lakes, may return as a full-time ‘Housewife’ if the show returns.
