Social Media Buzzing Over Upcoming Debut Single From Wyckoff’s Joe Jonas
Middle Jonas brother scheduled to release first single June 3, with solo album to follow.

Wyckoff native Joe Jonas is set to release his much-anticipated debut solo single “See No More” on June 3, with the full album scheduled to hit stores in September. The solo, co-written by Jonas and hip-hop artist Chris Brown, marks the second time one member of the trio has ventured out on his own.
Youngest brother Nick released his Hollywood Records solo, “Who I Am,” last year. It peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. Previously, Joe Jonas expressed interest in creating an album that would diverge from the youthful pop that dominated his Disney days and afford fans a more in-depth, personal look at the singer and his career development. The 21-year-old performer also wanted to experiment with a new style of music – one that would differentiate him from the tunes of his brotherly trio.
"Working on this album has been a rewarding but intense experience. 'See No More' especially carries a lot of personal emotions with it and I am hoping people listening to it will get a sense of where I'm coming from with this new sound," Jonas said in a statement. "I've had an awesome team working with me on the music and I am excited, anxious, but more importantly... ready... to share it all with my fans. It's as much for them as it is for me."

Twitter has been abuzz since Jonas announced earlier this month his debut single would soon be released, with one emphatic fantweeting, “OMG I'M GOING TO START COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS UNTIL #SEENOMORE by @joejonas ahhh!! finally! :D :D cant wait joe!”
Just mere mention of the album name and the date the first single would be unveiled drew 7,099 likes on Jonas’ Facebook page and nearly 1,400 comments -- in multiple languages -- from exhilarated fans who can’t wait to hear Joe’s break-out solo.

Even Jonas himself appeared excited about the hype surrounding his upcoming single – and for the opportunity to share his new sound with his global fanbase. “Excited to see everyone pumped about the single news,” he tweeted last week. Two days earlier, Joe tweeted, “Thanks for making #seenomore number 1 trending last night! So pumped for you all to hear the new music.”
To all those anxious teenage girls who may fear Joe’s single means he’s permanently divesting himself of his brothers’ musical talents, fear not. The middle brother has promised that the band is just taking time to work on some individual projects and does not intend to break up.
Raised by singer/songwriter parents in Wyckoff, the Jonas brothers caught their first break when Nicholas’ vocals got the attention of executives from the Daylight/Columbia label. Since their debut album “It’s About Time” in 2006, they’ve put out five top 10 albums and together sold more than 8 million albums worldwide. Their last studio project “Lines, Vines and Trying Times” peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2009.
