Teen Trend Of Vaping Will Be Discussed At Ramapo High School

New Jersey high schools have been cracking down on students vaping and using e-cigarettes.

FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ — Ramapo High School officials will host a special presentation about vaping and e-cigarettes Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the school's auditorium.

District Director of Security Charlie Wolff and Mike Mancino, Ramapo's assistant principal, will host the presentation.

"The vaping issue is a growing problem," the Franklin Lakes Municipal Alliance said in an announcement. "Our goal since September is to educate and inform our students and families as to the perils of vaping."

New Jersey high schools have been cracking down on students vaping and using e-cigarettes. Students caught vaping or using e-cigarettes at Bridgewater Raritan Regional High School will be suspended. Somerset Hills students caught vaping will be subject to a violation of the district's substance abuse policy.
