Teenager Holds Piano Recital for Seniors at The Longview Assisted Living Residence

Pictured, from left, are 13-year old Caitlin Filja, an accomplished pianist, and Cheryl Wolf, The Longview Assisted Living Residence/The Courtyard Activities Director and resident of Midland Park. Caitlin has performed three times at Carnegie Hall and has won numerous awards for her piano skills. Her father, Saimir Filjas, works at Christian Health Care Center (CHCC) in the Plant Operations and Maintenance Department. Caitlin volunteered to visit Longview and Courtyard at CHCC in Wyckoff to perform a piano recital for residents of Longview and Courtyard, a specialized residence designed to meet the needs of those with early stages of dementia and memory loss. Caitlin resides with her parents in Wood-Ridge.
