Three Franklin Lakes Teams to Play in TCYFL Super Bowl

With three consecutive wins at the Pee Wee, Junior and Senior level on Sunday, November 10, the Franklin Lakes War Eagles football teams sweep into the Tri County Youth Football League Championship Super Bowl to be held in Franklin Lakes on this Sunday.

While the Franklin Lakes War Eagles Pee Wee and Junior teams will be taking on Kinnelon, the Senior team will be opposing Pequannock in a vie for the division championship.

With home field advantage, Franklin Lakes will host the three championship games on the turf Pulis field located at the Franklin Lakes Recreation Center (1 Vichiconti Way).  

“As a town, we are looking forward to hosting Kinnelon and Pequannock, while having the entire Franklin Lakes community come out to cheer on our three Franklin Lakes teams,’” Recreation Director Jason Robinson said.

Pee Wee game starts at 12 p.m.; Juniors play at 2 p.m. and Seniors play at 4 p.m. There is no admission fee and parking is available at the field. There is also additional parking at the VFW on Pulis and Franklin Avenue with a free shuttle.  Food vending will be provided by The Brownstone of Paterson.
