UPDATE: Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For North Jersey

Thunderstorms forecast for between 5 and 7 p.m., according to weather.com.

Thunderstorms are forecast to hit North Jersey between 5 and 7 p.m. tonight, according to a Weather.com forecast.

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 8 p.m. for Bergen, Passaic, and Morris counties.

There is a 50 to 80 percent chance of thunderstorms between those hours, the forecast states. Humidity is expected to increase to nearly 100 percent as well.
