Tougher Water Restrictions Implemented In Wyckoff

Ridgewood Water implemented strict water restrictions Friday due to the ongoing dry weather. A stage four irrigation ban is in effect immediately.

Irrigation using a hand-held hose only is limited to Tuesdays and Saturdays for odd-numbered addresses and Wednesdays and Sundays for even-numbered addresses. Watering is not allowed Mondays, Thursdays, or Fridays.

Ridgewood Water provides service to Wyckoff, Ridgewood, Glen Rock, and Midland Park.

More than 50 summonses and hundreds of warnings were issued to violators in Ridgewood recently, Ridgewood officials said.
