VIDEO: Car Runs Over Bergen Man In His Own Backyard; Child Nearly Struck

A man was run over by a car in his backyard in New Jersey - and a child was almost struck, as shown by a video on News12.

Greg Ceballos sent News 12 New Jersey the video of himself, two relatives and a child playing in their N.J. backyard when a car from a gas station next door rammed through a fence.

The car runs over Ceballos, narrowly missing the child. The homeowner stood up after the crash, but was rushed to the hospital, according to news12.com.

His wife says he’s being treated for a fractured back, cuts and bruises, according to the report.

Lodi police said they were reviewing the incident and acknowledged that it was something that the department is looking into. But they didn’t have any further information.

The news station did not show the entire video, but did show a picture of the car just after it rammed through the fence (see below).

No one was sure why the car left the gas station and rammed into the fence.
