Wyckoff Native Named Collegiate Volleyball Player Of The Week

WYCKOFF, NJ — For the third time in her career, junior Shannon Hubert of the Muhlenberg College volleyball team has been named Centennial Conference player of the week.

Hubert, a team co-captain, averaged 10.6 assists and 3.3 digs per set as the Mules won matches against Haverford, Dickinson and DeSales to extend their winning streak to seven.

She averaged 11 assists, hit .357 and two blocks in two Centennial Conference matches, notching 42 in a four-set win against Haverford with a season-high 20 digs against DeSales.

For the season, Hubert leads the conference and ranks 38th nationwide in NCAA Division III in assists per set at 9.8.

Muhlenberg College is located in Allendale, Pennsylvania.
