Wyckoff Schools Opening Wednesday

Local students will have new teachers and new technology

Wyckoff students will be heading back to school Wednesday. Wyckoff schools will have a minimum day and the high schools will have a full-length day.

Students at Wyckoff's elementary schools and Eisenhower Middle School will have access to 125 new iPads this year, donated by the Wyckoff Education Foundation. According to outgoing WEF President John Key, there are many educational apps for the children to use in conjunction with other classroom tools. Key said he expects mobile devices like iPads will continue to play a bigger role in education over the next few years.

"We wanted Wyckoff to have a head start and be on the cutting edge of that," Key said.
