The Refugee & Newcomer Support Program is offering professional development for APS teachers and staff this month and next. These trainings are meant to give APS staff an understanding of the refugee cultures and backgrounds and how to best support students from these backgrounds.

You can sign up for these sessions through Powerschool. There are 30 spaces available for each training so sign up before they fill up! These trainings will be conducted virtually and by APS Refugee Case Managers who are from these communities and can speak from their personal experience and professional experience as well.
