Local parents say the moisture is vital for crops, trees, and wildlife, and the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority is asking residents to shut off sprinklers while natural rainfall waters yards and landscapes.
5. Emmys prove big night for Pluribus and New Mexico film (kob.com) — A hit Apple TV series filmed on a custom-built Albuquerque set just picked up six Emmy Awards, spotlighting local crews and actors who helped bring it to life. The production employed more than 1,400 New Mexicans and continues the momentum started by shows like Breaking Bad, even as the state navigates recent production losses and a shifting film job market.
