Albuquerque breaks September rain record, Santa Fe leads recent rainfall in NM (kob.com) โ Albuquerque just logged its rainiest September on record, with 4.49 inches measured at the Sunport after this week's storm. Santa Fe actually saw even more rain, and many New Mexico communities, including Rio Rancho and Edgewood, picked up over 3 inches, highlighting how widespread and intense the recent soaking was across the region.

AFR rescues individual trapped in vehicle after rollover crash (koat.com) โ Emergency crews in Albuquerque responded Wednesday to a serious rollover crash on I-40 eastbound at Carlisle, rescuing a critically injured person trapped in their vehicle and treating two others. Albuquerque Fire Rescue used specialized extrication techniques to safely remove the patient, transported two people to the hospital, and reported no injuries to firefighters at the scene.
