Environmental testing found the bacteria in a few limited areas, including two rooms, and remediation is underway, with officials stressing that no additional cases have been identified and overall risk remains low.

GoPro joyrider arrested on numerous charges (koat.com) — An Albuquerque man is facing 24 charges after allegedly leading Albuquerque Police and Sandoval County deputies on a high-speed motorcycle chase that topped 100 mph and stretched from Central and Tingley to U.S. 550. Officers say he recorded the entire pursuit on a GoPro before crashing on the mesa, and charges include aggravated fleeing, reckless driving and multiple traffic violations.

For the Love of Lymphoma event raises funds for Blood Cancer United (kob.com) — Albuquerque residents packed Tractor Brewing for the second annual For the Love of Lymphoma fundraiser, featuring live music, a car show and local vendors. The event, inspired by founder Stacia King-Sakya's own lymphoma journey, raised money for Blood Cancer United's research, advocacy and education efforts while highlighting how the community rallies around neighbors facing serious illness.
