• Los Alamos JJAB Annual Winter Clothing Project Is Underway (losalamosreporter.com) — Los Alamos families with children ages 0–18 can get help with brand-new winter coats, boots, and other cold-weather gear through JJAB’s annual Winter Clothing Project. The nonprofit is seeking financial donations now so it can meet rising demand among Los Alamos County youth as temperatures drop. Contributions go directly toward purchasing clothing and can be made online or by mail.
   

• LAHS Student Alea Kretz Honored As Distinguished Student Of Service By Rotary Club (losalamosreporter.com) — Alea Kretz, a Los Alamos High School junior, has been honored by the Rotary Club of Los Alamos as a Distinguished Student of Service for her extensive volunteering, music, and leadership. She’s active in LAHS choirs, varsity tennis, Odyssey of the Mind, and the Los Alamos STEAM Lab, and spoke about using community service to combat youth loneliness. Rotary leaders and her family joined the award presentation at United Church of Los Alamos.
   

• American Legion Riders Donate $1,500 To Hospital Auxiliary Of Los Alamos Medical Center (ladailypost.com) — American Legion Riders recently donated $1,500 to the Hospital Auxiliary of Los Alamos Medical Center, strengthening support for local patients and staff. The Auxiliary uses Lobby Shop proceeds and donations to fund scholarships for Los Alamos High School seniors pursuing healthcare careers, help LAMC employees further their education, and provide medical and pharmaceutical aid to residents in Northern New Mexico.
