• After heated, near five-hour-meeting, Bernalillo County allows mosque to be built in the North Valley (krqe.com) — A Bernalillo County zoning board has cleared the way for a new mosque in the North Valley, denying an appeal that challenged its approval and traffic impacts. The Albuquerque Islamic Center can now proceed with plans for a new site near Alameda and Second Street, while county traffic staff and project leaders work with neighbors to address concerns and share more details.
