• NY DEC expands McCarthy Hill State Forest (mytwintiers.com) — Residents of Addison should know that McCarthy Hill State Forest is nearly doubling in size as Pinnacle State Park’s 716 acres are transferred into the forest that spans Addison and Tuscarora. The expanded 1,510-acre property will be managed by DEC, boosting free public access for hiking, wildlife viewing, watershed protection, and timber production in Steuben County.
