City Of Albany: On October 1, 2021 Mayor Sheehan Presented The 2022 Budget To The Albany Common Council

On or before October 1st of each year the Mayor submits the proposed budget to the Albany Common Council for the ensuing fiscal year along with a message as required by the Charter of the City of Albany.  Part of the Common Council’s review involves an in-depth evaluation of the various departmental budgets, their capital plans, projected revenues, and projected spending.  On or before the October 31st of each year the President of the Common Council shall call for a public hearing to allow for the public participation prior to Council adoption with or without amendments.  Below please find the scheduled meetings where the Albany Common Council’s Finance, Assessment, and Taxation Committee will be reviewing departmental budgets and begin the deliberating on the 2022 Budget of the City of Albany.  Access the submitted 2022 Proposed Budget and more information.
