• Albion Strawberry Festival (iloveny.com) — Albion’s beloved Strawberry Festival is back June 12–13, filling downtown and the Erie Canal area with food vendors, live music, crafts, and family attractions. Residents can look forward to a big parade, Cruise-In car show, kids’ fun center, church chicken BBQ, strawberry shortcake, and even the popular Turtle Race on the canal bridge.
   

• Elementary PE teacher named Albion's Educator of the Year (orleanshub.com) — An Albion elementary physical education teacher, Don Adams, has been named the district’s Educator of the Year for his joyful, student-centered work in PE, coaching, and summer swim lessons. Adams, who’s taught in Albion since 1993, was praised for his kindness, integrity, and lasting impact on students, colleagues, and the wider community.
