The NYC modern jazz ensemble behind New York's popular sold-out Ghibli &amp; Anime nights at the Red Pavilion — with their debut album "The Ghibli Collection" album out on Origin Records — brings the music of Studio Ghibli, familiar Anime, video game music, and Hans Zimmer film scores to life through live improvisation to Rewind, LIC.

Known for reimagining iconic film and video game soundtracks, the ensemble uses familiar melodies as a foundation for lush harmonies, bold improvisation, and expressive musical storytelling. 
This night spotlights selections from their debut album The Ghibli Collection (Origin Records, 2026) — a contemporary jazz reinterpretation of Joe Hisaishi's scores — alongside music from Animes such as Your Name, Cowboy Bebop, Video Game Music such as Legend of Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, and Hans Zimmer scores such as Dune, Lion King, Man of Steel.

Familiar themes you'll recognize in a heartbeat, opened up into something that's never played the same way twice - emotionally rich and creatively adventurous.
