Boost your teenager's volleyball skills with our high-intensity weekend clinic! This program is designed for players ages 11 and up and takes place at the Frank Sinatra School (Q501) in Astoria. Every player needs to bring a volleyball. Without a ball you cannot participate.
To ensure optimal coaching, players will be split into Beginner and Advanced groups, each led by a dedicated instructor.
Clinic Schedule & Focus
- Friday (9/25 - 6:15 PM – 8:45 PM) | Libero & Defense Specialist
- Beginner Group: platform passing, low-body footwork, and reading the opposing hitter before contact
- Advanced group: Serve-receive, diving, rolling, and reading the opposing hitter.
- Saturday (9/26 9:15 AM – 11:45 AM) | Set, Attack
- Beginner Group: Mastering proper ball control and foundational footwork.
- Advanced Group: Adjusting footwork to varied sets, handling imperfect passes, and advanced setting techniques (including jump-sets and unexpected setter dumps/tips).
- Registration Fees: Saturday Only: $60. Full Weekend (Friday & Saturday): $100.
