Representatives from Tanger Outlets visited the school on Jan. 30 to present a ceremonial check to Principal Thomas Keogh, staff, students, and parents as part of the TangerKids community grant program, which provides funding for special projects and resources that help local schools succeed.
Keogh, who spearheaded the grant application, said the project centers on inclusivity and expanding how the space can be used by students. At least a portion of the funding is expected to go toward creating a school garden that will serve as an outdoor learning resource.
