Babylon Resident Promoted to Bank EVP
John Pinna advances to new role with Empire National Bank.

Babylon resident John Pinna has been promoted to executive vice president of Empire National Bank, headquartered in Islandia. Prior to this appointment, Pinna held the title of senior vice president and has been a member of Empire National’s management team since the financial institution’s 2008 launch.
“With close to 25 years of banking industry expertise, John has been instrumental in the development and growth of the bank’s technology and operations sectors,” said Empire National Bank’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Douglas C. Manditch in a press release.
Pinna attended Penn State University and has professional credentials from numerous prestigious industry organizations, including the American Institute of Banking.
He is a member of the Association of Information Technology Professionals, Long Island chapter, and the FIS Global User Planning Committee Board. He also serves on the Advisory Board of CoNetrix, a full-service computer networking, security and compliance firm.
