Babylon Village 2022 - 2023 School Budget: What You Need To Know
Residents will be voting on the budget and school board trustees on May 17. Here's what you need to know.
BABYLON VILLAGE, NY — On May 17, voters in the Babylon School District will head to the polls to vote for the district's proposed 2022 to 2023 budget.
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Babylon Junior-Senior High School East gym.
The proposed 2022-23 spending plan is $57,413,093, an increase of than $998,650 from the current budget, or 1.77 percent. The adopted budget contains a zero percent levy-to-levy increase.

In addition, three people are running for two spots on Board of Education this year. Residents can cast a vote for Donna Noesi (incumbent) and Ari McKenzie. Angela Campagna, current Parent-Teacher Association president, will also be running as a write-in candidate, she confirmed with Patch.
There will be a budget hearing at Monday night's Board of Education at 7:30 p.m. in the library of the Babylon Junior-Senior High School.
