Business Beat: Restaurante Redo and a Fromagerie
This news from Babylon Village's downtown district is foodie-friendly.
Renovations of the former Armadillo Grille, at the corner of DPA and Main Street, are at full throttle with a beautiful blue interior color scheme. Owners of the new restaurant, to be called the Tidewater Grill & Tavern, hope to open by December 12 or 13th.
Paper is covering the windows and the food to come is described as "American cuisine." The restaurant is slated to be open for lunch and dinner and possibly breakfast down the line.
Across the street, right near Ooh La La, a new cheese shop is getting ready to open.

The storefront, which formerly housed PC Doctor, recently decorated its windows with signs indicating what's to come: pate, aged gouda, charcuterie, and triple creme gourmet cheeses. One sign read simply "cheese is on its way." Aaron Stein's AroundBabylon reports it may open in time for the Old Fashioned Village Christmas event tonight.
