About The Argyle Theatre at Babylon Village
The Argyle Theatre, located on Main Street in Babylon Village, is Long Island's newest and largest year-round professional Equity theatre. The former movie theater has been restored to its former glory as a single theatre, complete with orchestra pit, balcony, state-of-the-art lighting, sound and rigging systems, and a full-service wet bar. The Argyle is a destination for Broadway-caliber musical theater, plays, concerts, comedy, and so much more - without ever having to leave Long Island! The 1922 theatre has been beautifully restored to provide for a comfortable, convenient, and affordable alternative to Broadway.
