Captree Power Squadron (a unit of the United States Power Squadrons) will be conducting boating and Personal Water Craft operation safety classes starting soon. Upon completion you will receive a certificate showing that you have passed the course which is recognized by law enforcement officers. This certification may also qualify you for reduced marine liability rates. Classes are five weeks long, meeting one night per week, 7:30 to 9 or 9:30 p.m. A nominal fee is charged to cover cost of books and materials issued to students. Instruction by New York State certified instructors is free.
