Job of the Week: Waterfowl Control Person

So, just what do you need in terms of skills to be a waterfowl control person? Well you must like to walk in parks and you must have a dog. At least those are some of the qualifications mentioned in a job ad posted by the Town of Babylon:
Unique position available working part-time for the Town of Babylon. Participate in a Waterfowl Control Program. Must have suitable dog, i.e.: Border Collie, Labrador/Golden Retriever, Brittany, or similar field/hunting dog. Dog must be spayed or neutered and have good temperament. Dog and Master must be in good physical condition to be able to walk parks.
The current shift opening is afternoon to early evening and pay is $10.00 per hour. Staffer must use own vehicle and own gasoline. Maximum of 40 hours worked per week during the summer months and 20 hours per week for the remainder of the year. Must be consistent and reliable.
