New West Babylon Pizzeria Hosts Grand Opening Celebration

WEST BABYLON, NY - A new West Babylon pizzeria recently held its grand opening. Gino's Pizzeria officially opened on 90 Route 109 in June. Last Thursday, the business held a special grand opening celebration attended by local officials and community members.

Town of Babylon Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez, Councilman Terry McSweeney and Town Clerk Gerry Compitello along with members of the West Babylon Chamber of Commerce stopped by the event.

During the restaurant's grand opening a special ribbon cutting ceremony was held, where the Babylon officials presented owner John Filagrossi with an honorary certificate of recognition from the Town and wished him well with his new location.

During the grand opening Gino's offered several specials including $1 slices, $2 specialty slices and half-off appetizers, heroes or pasta dishes.

The new eatery is open 7 days a week, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
