NYPD Officer Shares Heartwarming Moment Amid Unrest
An officer from Long Island and his partner stopped to play a game of basketball while working in New York City.

NEW YORK, NY — Amid the unrest occurring in New York City, an NYPD officer from Babylon shared a heartwarming moment while on the job as he and his partner stopped to play basketball with two local community members.
While working in South Ozone Park on Monday, local resident Justin Andrew and his partner were flagged down by two guys who wanted to play a game.
"We played, we spoke and we shared laughs," Andrew wrote. "This happened today amongst all the chaos going on around us in this city. If we all respect and love each other, nothing can stand in our way. I just thought that it was a special moment that not a lot of people witnessed today."
