Photo of the Day: Dickens Alley

This close-up shot could have been taken in old London.

One of the alleys that lead to and from Deer Park Avenue is bordered by the side of the Argyle Grill and Tavern building. Looking up at the old-world charm of this ornate sign and lantern, it's easy to imagine the bustling atmosphere of London in a Charles Dickens novel. At any moment, one of his top-hatted characters might stroll by.

Instead of being mere pass-throughs, many of the village alleys are quite attractive. They're landscaped beautifully, and remind resident and visitor alike of what makes Babylon Village special.
