Possible Shark Sighting Reported At Robert Moses State Park
BREAKING: A local lifeguard reported seeing a fin in the water on Thursday afternoon.

ROBERT MOSES STATE PARK, NY - A lifeguard reported seeing a possible shark in the water at Robert Moses State Park Field 2 on Thursday afternoon, George Gorman, state parks deputy regional director for Long Island confirmed.
According to Gorman, the call came in at about 1:10 p.m. Officials searched the waters for about an hour but did not see any sign of a shark.
After the search, the waters was declared safe for beach goers.

The lifeguard reported seeing a fin which could have been a shark but could have also been a dolphin or another type of fish, Gorman said.
