Remains Found In Babylon Believed To Be Related To MS-13 Murder
The remains are believed to belong to a 29-year-old who went missing in 2015, according to one report.

BABYLON, NY - Human remains found in Babylon Village are believed to be related to an MS-13 victim, according to multiple reports.
On Thursday, FBI agents found the remains while searching in the marshy land by the LIRR tracks near North Railroad Avenue between Livingston Avenue and Ralph Avenue.
"It's clear from the condition of the remains that they've been at the site for an extended period of time, and will require forensic testing to determine the identity," FBI Public Affairs Specialist Amy J. Thoreson told Patch in an email. "We don't have any information to suggest this is associated with an imminent threat to the safety of the community in Babylon."

A law enforcement official told Newsday that the remains are believed to be of 29-year-old Ceasar Rivera, 29, who went missing in 2015.
Rivera was believed to be involved with the MS-13 gang but it is still unknown in what capacity, according to an ABC7 report.
The investigation is still ongoing.
