Sprint Premier Store Gone from Babylon Village
Deer Park Avenue's only cell phone store leaves after nearly two years in business.
The on Deer Park Avenue in Babylon Village has apparently closed up shop and left town sometime during the last two weeks.
The storefront, located at 26 Deer Park Avenue, appeared "boarded up," in this case the windows covered from the sill to about seven feet up with brown paper, blocking any passerbys from taking a look inside the location. The phone number associated with the business has been disconnected and all signs of the word "Sprint" were removed from most of the building, including the name being cut out from the canvas overhanging sign.
Only the logo for the company and a door sign with name and logo remain. The store had been a part of the village business district since arriving in 2010.
