Tooker Authors Share Veteran Stories
The students shared personal stories of veterans close to their own hearts with the author and chatted about her book.
From West Babylon School District: Students in Cristina Carbonaro’s class at Tooker Avenue Elementary School in the West Babylon School District have been reading and writing about veterans this month. They had a special visit from Valerie Pfundstein, author of “Veterans: Heroes In Our Neighborhood.” The students shared personal stories of veterans close to their own hearts with the author and chatted about her book.
