3. GENESEE COUNTY/City of Batavia bills O-AT-KA for emergency force main cleaning project (videonewsservice.net) — Batavia's City Council is set to amend the 2026–27 budget to cover nearly $396,000 in emergency cleaning of the O-AT-KA force main after dairy waste severely restricted flow. City staff say the work, billed to O-AT-KA, has boosted wastewater capacity, eased strain on lift station pumps, and helped avert potential pump failure and environmental problems.
4. AAA explains that high crude oil costs and global tensions are keeping both gasoline and diesel prices elevated, and offers tips and member discounts to help motorists save.
