2nd French Bulldog Stolen Over Holiday Weekend Found Safe: PD

BAY SHORE, NY — A French bulldog puppy who was stolen from a Bay Shore home on Saturday has been reunited with its owner, Suffolk County Police said.

According to police, a person or people broke into a home on Farrington Avenue through a back door sometime between 8 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday. Clothing, cash and a 3-month old French Bulldog, a male named Zushi, were stolen, police said.

Zushi was reported stolen only hours after another French bulldog, Stella, was reunited with her owners after being stolen from a Huntington home on Thanksgiving.

French bulldogs are notoriously expensive and can cost several thousand dollars.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
