Bay Shore High School Student Recognized For Artwork
Emily Prunty of Bay Shore High School was recognized as a Parrish Art Museum 2018 Student Exhibition Honoree.

BAY SHORE, NY - From Bay Shore School District: Emily Prunty, a Bay Shore High School student enrolled in the Professional Photography and Digital Imaging program at the Eastern Long Island Academy of Applied Technology, was recognized as a Parrish Art Museum 2018 Student Exhibition Honoree. Every February the museum holds a student exhibition for which hundreds of students from eastern Long Island school districts submit their best artwork. Local artist and Long Island University Professor Neill Slaughter judged this year's exhibition. A ceremony was held for select students to receive awards of excellence. Slaughter described Emily Prunty's digitally manipulated photograph as a "surreal and captivating photograph." Emily Prunty is pictured with Photography Teacher Elizabeth Grafer.
